Our Process
We carry out the following process:
Site Visit – We will attend site to understand your initial requirements, we may put forward suggestions and discuss the potential solutions we could consider.
Quotation Document – At this point we will have explored the possible options within the quote and we will look to ensure all our questions are answered in this document before progressing
System Topology – This is an overall look at the system, designed to give a high level view of integration with existing components of a line and a basic understanding of the function of all elements of the design.
Electrical Schematics – The schematics are created in house by our experienced engineers using Eplan P8. Once designed they are reviewed internally to ensure they meet the requirements of the original quotation.
I/O List – We ensure the right amount of I/O is used for the application, allowing for future expansion.
Hardware Specification – Outlines the type of hardware that will be provided.
Software Specification – Outlines the functionality of the software that will be provided.
Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT’s) – A set of tests specified by us in order to ensure the equipment is fit for purpose and ready to be installed on site. All tests will be carried out at our facility before we come to site.
Installation / Commissioning – We will install the equipment and complete the setup on site.
Site Acceptance Tests (SAT’s) – A set of tests designed to test the performance of the equipment on site to ensure the purpose in the quote is fulfilled.
Completion – The SAT results have been reviewed and there are no outstanding open issues.
Our Commitment
At Absolute Measurement we have a strong commitment to our customers to ensure we meet their requirements – as part of this during final commissioning we test against what we set out to achieve with structured tests designed to ensure the solution is fit for purpose.
